Mercedes S-Class
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the pinnacle of luxury in the automotive world.  This latest generation continues the iconic S-Class design incorporating a distinguished front grille and the familiar profile associated with the luxurious German sedan. The S-Class comes standard with beautiful LED headlights that are accented with LED daytime running lights with the same layout used in the rear taillights. Overall the exterior of the S-Class is a clean design being more stately than overstated.
The S-Class has a number of drivetrain options for you to choose from ranging from the base S550 with its 4.7L V8 to the S600 model complete with a 6.0L V12. A hybrid S550e is also available pairing a 3.0L V6 with an electric motor. No matter which S-Class you choose, its suspension offers a choice of modes, adaptive damping and even an automatic leveling system. Using a system of cameras at the front of the vehicle, the S-Class can actually “see” any bumps ahead and adapt the suspension to suit before coming in contact with the vehicle giving the driver a more comfortable ride no matter what the road throws at you.
The cabin of the S-Class is first class- literally. Having been designed after the interior of some private jetliners, only the finest materials will be found inside. No matter where you look you will only find a beautiful mixture of fine leather, metal, and wood or carbon fiber trim. The most prominent feature of the S-Class’s interior are the twin 12.3-inch high-res displays with one acting as the customizable instrument cluster as the other housing the Mercedes COMAND® system featuring all your media and even live weather easily displayed. The cluster of buttons all around a central dial and touchpad controls all vehicles systems and although the standard audio system is top-notch, a superb Burmester® system will make you feel like you’re center stage in a concert hall.
This generation Mercedes S-Class continues its reign as the king of luxury by staying true to the successful Mercedes S-Class formula of simply updating and adding new luxury features to an already outstanding vehicle. The one thing that should always be remembered is that if you’d like to know what’s going to be on your standard car in 10 years, look at what is on the S-Class today.  The Mercedes-Benz S-Class competes against the Audi A8, BMW 7-Series, and Jaguar XJ.
